Discipline


  • Perfect silence should be maintained during the SILENCE BELL and PRAYER BELL.
  • Assignments should be submitted ON TIME.
  • RUDE and ARGUMENTATIVE behavior with teachers and cabinet members will be strictly dealt with.
  • COMING OUT OF CLASSES after the teachers leaves the class and before the arrival of the next teacher is strictly prohibited.
  • ATTENDANCE ON SCHOOL FUNCTION is Necessary.
  • STAYING AWAY FROM CLASS will be seriously dealt with.
  • The children are strictly forbidden to purchase any articles of food from unauthorized dealers at or near the school premises.
  • All applications for certificates must be made in writing. These will only be issued in 24 hours after receipt of the applications.
  • No pupil is exempted for games, yoga, music and physical training without Medical certificate.
  • Students are not allowed to receive visitors in the school. Only under urgent circumstance will pupils be allowed to make a phone call.
  • The Principal has the right to refuse continuation of the students whose conduct or influence is unsatisfactory.
  • Students may not offer presents to their teachers, except in those circumstances sanctioned by the Principal.
  • Students found cheating during examination, will not be allowed to answer the rest of the papers and Promotion will not be granted even if, they have passed their previous tests.
  • Students must not scratch or spoil the desk write in chalk or pencil on the wall or in any way damage school property. Damage done should be reported at once. Even if, it is caused by accident, the damage has to be made good.
  • The School is not responsible for loss of any personal belongings of the students. They are, therefore adviced not to bring large sums of money, expensive articles or wear jewellery to school.
  • Students are not permitted to bring any dangerous articles such as knives, razor-blades, guns, daggers, fire- crackers etc. Nor are they allowed to bring cameras, mobile-phones, radios or other electronic articles to School. if these things found, they will be confiscated and will not be returned.
  • All Carmel Students are expected to:
    • Show respect to all the teachers.
    • Avoid shouting, whistling hooting or running about in the school building.
    • Avoid using indecent language.
    • Avoid throwing paper, stones etc. anywhere in or around the School premises, except in the bins provided for the purpose.
    • Observe all the rules of good conduct on the streets while coming to or returning from school.
